Denise's Story
Hi. Well, as you know, graduated WHS in '72. Got married in '74 and had two sons. In '78 starting working for Chevron refinery in El Segundo. Divorced in '84. Remained single until '94 when I met my Prince Charming. I tell you, it took alot of frogs before I found him. Problem was, he lived in Houston, TX. Alas, true love. I decided to leave California and move to Texas. I was lucky enough to get a transfer to Chevron Chemical in Baytown. I worked there till 2000 when I transferred to Corporate HR in downtown Houston. reat time in that department met many great people and learned alot about the corporate world. During this time our children married, parents passed,and we became grandparents. Hard to imagine we were getting that old. Though Texas was a nice place to "visit" I never really liked it so as promised, after 18 years, when we retired we moved back out west and have settled in Reno, NV. When I look out the window it is like being on vacation everyday, the mountains, snow, fresh air, fishing,,,,,just love it! Life has been very good to us.
